Watery Poop/Smacking Noise

I just started noticing that a few of my chickens have slightly watery poop-- not quite diarrhea but it's not completely solid. They're also making a smacking noise with their beak randomly. Is there anything I should be concerned about or anything I should be doing?

Did you feed them anything watery...like fruit or juicy veggies?

Not sure about the beak 'smacking'.

Do they get regular Granite grit? Also what are they being fed daily....

they're given grit from the local feed store and they're fed layer pellets
