Open Contest Wattle I Do Without You?

Big Momma the head hen to the 5 we hatch. She is so special and sweet and loves to be held. Specially if she think treats are involved. She the best of Brahmas chickens!

Penny Marshall 💙❤️ my blue laced red wyandotte. Penny's time on this earth was relatively short- but for those who knew her she was a friend to all. This is her hatch day celebration in the Spring of last year!

One of my favorite pictures of her (and there are ALOT of pictures of her lol)

Bouncy, my EE looks at me with her good eye. Her other eye was blinded by a very mean rooster who is now no longer with us. It took me a week to heal her, so now she waits for me day and night to hold her and give her sweet chicken hugs. If she's lucky, some days I have time to let her take a nap on my lap. Once she was the queen of the flock, but now has been cast as far down as a hen can go. However, when I'm around, she feels like a queen again and knows that no one will hurt her. 🥰

This thread is really great! Such wonderful heartwarming stories of all fluffies past and present. Do we have a spot on this site where people can share a story or memory specific to a favorite hen? Hearing all of these stories how people rescued a special bird or worked through a health challenge is such a positive light in the chicken world. I find it lovely to read these special stories and relationships 😊
We have a forum, Pictures & Stories of My Flock, which would be one place a person can post all of their pictures they wish to post. That's your own thread, others can see and post on too.
