Open Contest Wattle I Do Without You?

Pics
This is Dandelion, a Buff Brahma hen I really love. She is 1 turning 2 in June. She is big, fat and fluffy. (BFF) A "requirement for my brahmas"! I love to pet her and give her treats. She is one of my sweetest, hens. She loves "Mama hen stew", just like Omelette! She likes to eat treats and free-range.

One of my older hens, Pumpkin

She’s a pekin bantam that is the best mother of all time, she successfully hatched & raised 21 chicks last year- and then she hatched more later in the year!!

For her small fluffy body and affectionate nature- I couldn’t think of a better hen.

Wattle I do without you pumpkin!! ❤️

Mr Little Chicken (aka Mr LC)

I first met Mr LC when he was about a week old, he was one of 2 chicks left in the pen at Peavey Mart. When I walked into the store all I could hear was this screaming chick. I tried to ignore it, I already had enough chickens, my objective was horse feed not checking out chicks.

But that continuous screaming dragged me over to see what was going on. OMG something so tiny had a set of lungs! There were two chicks, about a week old, the last of the previous week’s shipment.

Hmmmm - well to shut him up (oh I knew it was a he - only a boy would scream that much!) I figure the only thing to do was bring him home. I went and found one of the store associates, told him make ‘me a deal and I’ll take that screaming terror off your hands’. So 50% off and the two chicks and my horse feed came home with me 🤭♥️

The other is a hen Mrs Little Chicken, and they are both horrible in the cold climate here, poor wee kiddos. But it’s all good they know they can snuggle in my jacket to get warmed up.

He’s such a big suck 🥰

This is Omelette, MY 1 year old Rhode Island Red hen. She is turning 2 in April. I love her and I like to pet her. Whenever I make treats for my chickens (Like "Mama hen stew", which is chicken crumble or pellets mixed with water and grains) she is always one of the first to try it! She is my only Rhode island red. If you check out my article 'Top 6 chicken breeds', you can see her dark mahogany color. She is a bit aggressive, but I think she is one of the sweetest Rhode Island Reds I have ever seen.

I love her name! And that rich chestnut mahogany colouring is magnificent ♥️ Like a chestnut horse ♥️

Oh I really really really want a couple of Brahma ♥️♥️♥️♥️

Is there a reason why my post for Chunky got copied and split into 3 posts? Lol if its because of the multiple pics we can just go with the one where he is posing by himself.
