Hello everyone! My name is Olivia I'm from Iowa and I've finally begun my journey into raising chickens! I'm so excited, I've wanted chickens for yeeeaaars. I now have two, ten week old silver laced wyandottes a ten week old buff Orpington, a seven week old Americana Marans cross and four 1 week old French black copper Marans chicks. I also have two four week old mystery turkeys....they were a surprise lol. I am so stinkin in love with my little flock and I am excited to learn more and become the best chicken mom possible. ^.^

Welcome to BYC! You will find lots of good information on this site. I really like the sweet, friendly dispositions of Buff Orpingtons and the chocolate eggs of the Marans. Good luck with your flock.

Enjoy this new adventure you are on and welcome to our flock!

Welcome. I have heard turkey poults are adorable too, and sometimes follow people around like dogs. Enjoy your feathered kids.
