I've never been there but have heard great things about it compared to my experiences at Mt Hope Ohio last year. I'd much rather go to Iowa instead this spring and it's a lot closer to me.Anyone else been there,or going there this spring?

I've never been to the Waverly sale but when you're talking about sales, the grass is always greener. It seems like if I'm looking for a pet coon and don't go there were 60million of them there and if I do, they skip that year. I like the Mt Hope sale because I love "treasures" and they usually have lots of cages and other people's junk there. My favorite part. The only thing that kept me from coming home with a couple of swans one year was the carrying capacity (actually lack thereof) of a honda civic. And their crates would have made great brooders. A two fer. But where you end up in the que can make a huge difference in whether a sale is worthwhile if your selling. A couple of years ago someone sold sawdust, now around here you can get those compressed bags at TCS usually for $5. a bag, someone bought a bunch of feed bags of it for nearly that amount. Gotta wonder sometimes.

I went and I'm still kicking myself for not getting the contact info for a person that was selling a trio of Mille Fleur oegbs. I did not buy them as I didn't have a place for them at the time. I should have just bought them and found a place for them but I didn't and then later I thought I should have asked about hatching eggs. Would anyone on here know who this person was and any contact info about them. She was actually selling them for her daughter who was home with the flu. She was set up with a tent and had 5 or 6 bottle goats and , I believe, 4 trios of different colored oegbs. I don't remember if she had anything else there or not, maybe some pigeons but I'm not sure. Any info would be appreciated, thanks in advance for any replies.
