Waving from the Coop!!

We have been lurking down here in the middle of Mississippi, reading and learning from BYC. To ALL of you that take the time to post information, THANK YOU!!!! Well, we decided to write our first post this fine evening.

We have 3 white Silkies, 2 Banties and one Ameraucana. Yesterday morning we found two newly born baby chicks

we hope will live long lives. We've lost many babies during the past year and are in the process of building a better chicken coop, which will give us two separate areas so that we can keep the babies free from being trampled.
I love our Silkie rooster! This guy has had me laughing many times for many reasons.

Great to be here and looking forward to "hanging out on the roost" with you.
