Waving hello from Arizona

I just joined this morning but I've been looking over posts for months.

I've been dreaming of chickens (only place I can say this without a strange glazed-over look) for a while now. But we are finally getting in gear. I'm planning out the backyard, looking at coop designs and researching chickens that can handle the Arizona summer heat. Sadly, they will be a stealth flock but I think my neighbors are ok with it (aka, free eggs).

I am looking forward to being part of this community!!!
