Way to ease laying?

Hi - one of my banties (a cochin) had a lot of difficulty laying today. She was in and out of the nest box a few times, stayed for a long time when she was on the nest, was panting and was pecking at something underneath her (assumedly her vent, but not sure).
She finally laid a normal egg, and was pretty happy about that! Seems fine now.
Is there anything I should be doing that would make this easier for her? They get Layena, free choice grit and oyster shell, plus some scratch and Grubblies. Their run is on grass, and they get a few hours of semi-free range. Flock Fresh in the coop.

I’m not really sure about the laying, but would you be able to post a picture of the bird? Sorry if I’m being nosy, but we have a bantam chick who may be a Cochin, and I was wondering what they would look like

I've just had them a couple of weeks. I was told they were 11 months old. They've all been laying, but she's always sat on the nest a lot. I assumed she was just broody. (My first chickens)
