How hot can an incubating egg get before it is no longer viable. I went to our neighbors, we are off grid, to check our incubators and the thermometer was maxed out. So likely higher than 120°. Surely there is no hope for them

:welcome

Technically, an internal temp of over 104 for any length of time is deadly. It mostly depends on how hot the egg got internally and how long it was at that temp. If it spiked from 101-120+ in a matter of minutes and you caught it before the internal temp hit that 104 mark, there's hope. If it was that long for a long period, giving the internal temp to rise, then there's no hope. All you can do is open the bator get the temps back down, regulate the temp, give it 12-24 hours and candle the eggs. Hopefully, they did not hit a deadly internal temp and you have a chance.

Thank you for the info. With that information I an certain that they are not viable at this point. Time to start over. :-(
