Sorry about the typo. I typed it late at night after a very long day lol. I really meant 5 gallon bucket not 5 pound lol. Yeah we originally were going to use something like that as well but then realized that the boys were too large to fit into anything that size. They had just gotten to wide. It was also hard to lift them at the weight that they were to put them into anything like that and we thought that the chances were pretty good that when they died and started moving in the cone we made that they would pull it off of whatever we had hitched it to because they weighed so much. That's why we opted to lay them on the back bed of my truck which was on a down hill slope with their head hanging off the end in a bucket. With two cuts rather than one it took a lot less time for them to goThank You for your tips I appreciate it. I was thinking of using a 5gallon bucket not a 5lb bucket not sure if thats still what you meant in not using it. Though your way does sound like a better idea, placing it on a table and doing the cuts. I appreciate the advice and I will use it. And Im glad you also said 2 cuts( I wouldnt have thought of that) I want it to go fast and painless with the least amount of suffering.
