Ways To Freeze

I have been using vacuum seal rolls from wal-mart and they aren't cheap. I found an on-line deal that is being shipped but they still come out pretty expensive. What ways do people freeze their birds?

Parts (boneless breasts, etc.) 6½x11 17¢ each
Broiler (3-5 lb) 9x16 25¢ each
Roaster (5-8 lb) 10x16 29¢ each
Large Chicken (8-10 lb) 11X18 33¢ each

I've seen those bags before. I don't know if it matters, but I cut our chickens in 1/2 before freezing.

I wonder if I could wrap the chicken 1/2's with butcher paper???????
