wazine instructions

I asked my husband since he was the last one to handle him and he said about 10 pds. wazine 17

Wazine 17 is a very low doseage wormer. If you can get the wazine 34 or ivomec, they are much better wormers.
In N.H.,Tony.
Wazine 17 and Wazine 34 are the same medicine, both are piperazine, but one is twice the strenght of the other.

Ivermectin as a bird anthelmintic--trials with naturally infected domestic fowl.

Oksanen A, Nikander S.
Abstract

To evaluate the use of ivermectin as a bird anthelmintic, 29 White Leghorn hens naturally infected with Ascaridia spp., Heterakis spp. and Capillaria spp. were treated with 0.2, 2 or 6 mg/kg intramuscularly or 0.2 or 0.8 mg/kg orally. Faecal samples were collected before treatment and at autopsy, 2, 6, or 16 days after treatment, when the intestines were also examined for helminths. None of the treatments gave satisfactory anthelmintic results.

The better wormer to use would be Safeguard (fenbendazole) or Valbazen(albendazole).

Here are the instructions for Wazine 17:

Source:http://valleyvet.naccvp.com/index.php?m=product_view_basic&u=country&p=msds&id=1012002
TURKEYS - Under 12 weeks of age: for each 100 birds, use 2 fluid ounces (60 ml) of Wazine-17 in 2 U.S. gallons (7.6 liters) of drinking water. Over 12 weeks of age: for each 100 birds, use 4 fluid ounces (120 ml) of Wazine-17 in 4 U.S. gallons (15 liters) of drinking water. Worm turkeys at 4-6 weeks of age and thereafter at 30 days, or as needed.
CHICKENS - 4 to 6 weeks of age: for each 100 birds, use 1 fluid ounce (30 ml) of Wazine-17 in 1 U.S. gallon (3.8 liters) of drinking water. Over 6 weeks of age: for each 100 birds, use 2 fluid ounces (60 ml) of Wazine-17 in 2 U.S. gallons (7.6 liters) of drinking water. Treat broilers at 4 weeks of age and thereafter at 30 days, or as needed. Treat replacement pullets at 8, 12, and 16 weeks of age.

FYI, Wazine is not the best wormer for Peafowl as it only gets roundworms. If I were you I would get some Safeguard liquid for goats instead. With peafowl you need to worry about cecal and capillary worms as well as roundworms.
