BLUE Partridge Wyandotte's
would like to find babies or atleast a young sex trio or quaid
please let me know if anyone has any
and please send me pics of the birds you have thanks glenda
I dont think there are any blue partridge birds in the US other than the rare blue partridge brahmas. Like I always say you could make them in a couple generations.
A side project I am working on is blue laced red/gold in a Brahma. The male I used is a F1 offspring of a splash BLRW crossed to my gold laced "Brahmas". I also had two pullets in the breeding pen that were pencilled with a dark edge lace that I included because of great type.
I have maybe 80 chicks out of this breeding. A suprising number of chicks came out clean legged or lightly stubbed.
I can't at this time post new pictures of the chicks, or the pencilled hens, as my main computer is down , and the wifes laptop does not have this feature,( or at least I can't figure it out). Here is a previously down loaded picture of the male and a couple of the clean laced hens.
If you have a cell phone that can recieve pictures and are interested pm me a phone number , and I will try to send a cell phone picture of the chicks. They are about 4 and 2 weeks old. I am in Ohio.
looks like your off to a good start, very pretty nice adult breeders
when you can I'd love to see the babies ,thanks for helping to furture my education on breeding to get what you want
