Today We were lucky enough to acquire new hens to our flock! Our flock already consisted of 2 Ameracaunas and a mixed ameracauna/Colombian Wyandotte roo. So today one of the local chicken enthusiasts contacted us with an offer for Black Stars, Frizzles, Silkies, barred rock, Orpingtons of just about every color, and Excehqour Leghorns. Of course I was at his coops within minutes to purchase my picks. I acquired a pair of barred rock younglings a black star hen and a frizzle. The frizzle seems to be a live incubator and the others adapted well.

Has anyone else added newbies to their coop? And if so, show pics if the new additions.

Today I got two Silver Laced Wyandottes, 11 weeks old! Very excited. I also have an inquiry, waiting impatiently on a response on some Blue Splash Orpingtons. which is the direction my flock is headed.

Also, I am looking for French bantams and 1 Rhode Island Red (French bantams mostly). If anyone has a French bantam for sale , let me know. I can find a RIR anywhere.
