We are having babies!!!

I have one turkey egg hatching, a bourbon red from the ones in Lancaster, We have 3 pigeons sitting on eggs, and we have had5 chicks hatch over the last week! We still have 5 or 6 from TSC that are ready to go out. Today anything outside I feel sorry for but hot and humid is great for hatching turkey eggs I guess! I am soosoososososssssooooo excited!

They are all in the coop which thankfully has windows across from each other and the door is open.
The turkey finished hatching in my hand wait till you see the pictures! She seems a little wobbly so I am leaving her outside till tonight when I will join her with the newly hatched chicks from last week. I hope she makes it! It is SO hot out there and the thunderstorms have cooked up some humidity! Yuck!!

I will have to go check again and see what is going on out there. WHY are they so hard?? It is funny they are hard and the eggs are so expensive. If you tired to sell anyone else something like that they would never buy it.
I realize that they are hard so that is what must get the price but if I tried to sell you eggs and said yep they are fertile but they may not make it out of the shell, and if they do they may not make it very long. Hmmm very odd!
