We are looking for an English Mastiff to adopt

We are ready to open our home to another EM rescue!!

Both informal and formal rescues are ok.

Must haves:
Good with older, calm kids
Good with other dogs
Good with cats
Want a full bred EM or possibly EM crossed with another mastiff breed.

Open to:
Seniors
Long term medical issues within reason
Sort term treatable medical conditions within reason
Hospice care
And of course young healthy dogs too!

Willing to drive 8 - 10 hrs though obviously less is ideal.

If anyone has some leads or know of EM rescues I would GREATLY appreciate your time responding!!

The shelter I work at we just got an english mastiff. Beautiful dog and super lovable around kids and people.

Neither am I but do you have friends that are that would post for you? I was thinking that on FB you might be able to hook up with an individual who has or knows of someone who has what you are looking for. My experience with rescues has been spotty. Some are great and some are scams.

Where are you located?

I would find a "Mastiff Rescue group". They get mastiffs out of shelters into foster homes and can help you find what you are looking for. Google the quotes to find them. They don't need to be in your state !

I do have to say that many give away XL breeds due to the reason you want them, kids, other dogs, cats.. oh and the drool LOL
