We are redesigning a farm!

Hi all!
My name is Jodi. I am on my first chicken adventure since childhood. I remember them clearly. I have built, or am building a cool chicken tractor. My Orpingtons are supposed to hatch today or tomorrow I think. I see tiny movements, or at least think I do. lol. My fiancé and I are redesigning his families 3rd generation farm. One thing I have always wanted was chickens, and here I am. I have 8 eggs. I order 6, kind of them to send extra, but all seem to have grown, per candling through the incubator. Prayers, thoughts and advice welcome!

Well, a lot of people want chicks right now so you can probably give them away easily or even sell them if they all hatch and if you’re not allowed to have that many.

There's a lot of information in the Learning Center about hatching and raising chicks and chickens, and you can find that under the Articles tab up on top. But for now, here's an article on raising chicks for their first 6 weeks. This will help a lot for now!
