Hi there!
I bought my wife a chicken coop for a wedding present. Please tell me I did not make a mistake!
Kidding! We're both very excited to begin our backyard chicken journey and we will be using this site for A LOT of help.
Our chick's will be here next week!
We would love to hear any tips or tricks for first time chicken owners.
Thank you all! Happy wife, happy life!

6x8x10 Amish built coop. I think it will be perfect for our rather small backyard. (20x20)
We live in town, so we're only allowed 7 hens. Think it will do the trick?

Congrats!
Have you decided where to brood the chicks, heat source, etc?

That'll work great....better if you do these mods for ventilation:
