I LOVE that you used reclaimed wood from your fencing! That makes the coop look really rustic, and super charming! Looked at your blog that had all the pictures of every aspect of the build. Very impressive! I've never seen the corrugated plastic striping before- that the metal screwed down onto. (but I'm no builder!) And so amazing that the whole thing looks like it belongs in that small yard- doesn't look cramped; it just looks so fun! Great ideas! I'm really wavering on what kind of coop to build- but the more I see this particular kind, the more i like them!

its also nice with the reclaimed wood because even though we are allowed to have chickens the coop sort of camouflages into our backyard so it does not attract attention.

the chickens really love it. they put themselves to bed every night so all we have to do is add the automatic coop door opener and we will be set.
