And he turned black after putting zip lock bag ad the frig. Was wondering why it turned black? Not sure what we did wrong. Have read to put them in saline water for a day or two. Is there a good video to watch to learn all the steps to butchering chickens? We have watched a few but they seem to be very good for newbies.
 
So tell us more about the process that you used 2 slaughter? Did u cut its throat and let it bleed out? How did u pluck it? By hand? Or did u skin it? If dipped In Water? What temperature? I recently posted a thread "calling all pluckers". Seasoned BYC folks where very helpful.
