We can't agree on this conversion

HC is not a good floor, hard on feet and the poops won't magically fall thru...at all, especially once they get bigger.

Completely agree with @aart. HC wire will lead to divorce if you are having a debate now.
My person experience with wire floor: I inherited an elevated coop with HC floor. There was a 2.5x 2.5 ft access door for cleaning in the 4x8 coop. Not big enough to do a good cleaning and the wire was caked with piles of old poop and hardened into the holes. I used a pressure washer on it which helped but made a spectacular wet poop mess inside and underneath. Wetting the old mess smelled awful. Imaging power washing that every week for 10 birds! Mind you, I did not yet have birds. I rehomed the coop.

Without seeing your tractor I agree with others to elevate to a workable height. wood floor with either cheap linoleum or add poop trays under roosts with an access door to scoop poop daily or every other day. I have 15 birds and it literally takes just minutes a day.

How big is this Aframe?
Dimensions and pics would help immensely here.

Not a fan of Aframes, tight space at height and difficult to meld weather proofing with good ventilation.
Hardware cloth is a good floor and poop does fall magically through it.do you actually have any on wire? I do and have for years.
I know this will probably be deleted due to asking a legitimate question

Even the 1"x2" mesh on my crates doesn't always let the poops drop thru.
I would never use 1/2" mesh for anything but tiny chicks...poopwise,
not to mention it can be hard on their feet.

also, depending on your soils, it may well eat hardware cloth, anyways. My own soils are highly acidic sandy clays and clay-ey sands. They will etch concrete, and they eat wire (galvanized or not) in a season or three.
