We did it....Eggs!!!!!

Well this morning was awakened be a lot of chicken talk. We got our first eggs. Yes eggs. The confusing part is one chicken making a ton of noise but found 2 eggs in the same box. So two different chickens or a double header. Look at the picks identical size and color and both warm. We have an ROI of 2 eggs for 3K. Lol. But these gals are the best therapy.

First eggs are the BEST! And those are beautiful. The odds of one hen layig two lovely eggs like that in a single 24-hour cycle are ... slim to none. Your other girl picked it up the same day, it appears!

They will, patience...but easier said than done.
We have 3 pullets laying, and I'm waiting and watching. Of course, it could be 4 laying, maybe our trailcam to know. Waiting for the 5th and then for the eggs to be larger.

Those first eggs are cute. I had to use 8 of them for a breakfast for two. Honey, I prepared 4 eggs for your breakfast.
