We did it........ new chicks

So finally made the plunge and got some chicks yesterday.
WE hopefully have 6 pullets and a cockrel.
One seems a little weak after the trip home but she made it through the night.
They are supposed to be RIR and leghorn, Americana cross not sure.

we loved our chickens but sadly, we had to have our chckens take a country vacation with thier former broodermates
because of niehbor trouble. The lady was so mean and the funny thing is we found her dog when it had escaped so we are trying to get it so we can have our chickens back. By the way there is a 99.9 percent chance that you will catch the chickenbug!

ok here our babies are.
One is very curious and watches us every time we come near and cheeps at us. The others are still a little scared. We are resisting touching them until they settle in. That is taking alot of selfcontrol for me let alone out 8yo daughter!!
