Hello everyone! This is my first time posting anything on the site, but I sure like looking at everyone else's posts!

Here are a couple of pictures of my babies, and what we were told about them is underneath. Help?

From left to right:
5 week old Phantom. We were told he/she is a Cochin Bantam (Black? Hen?)
5 week old Mish. We were told he/she is an ISA Brown x Brown Leghorn (color? Roo?)
6 week old Pranks. We were told he/she is an Old English Game Bantam (Red Pyle? Roo?)
5 week old Henny Penny. We were told he/she is an ISA Brown x Brown Leghorn (color? Hen?)

Here are Pranks and Mish in a standoff (roos?)
Here is a close-up of 7 week old Pranks' pretty markings. His/her tail is sort of opal colored.
6 week old Henny Penny out for a stroll. He/she is SO SOFT now!
A picture of the gang with a nice head shot of Phantom (The Black Cochin Bantam Hen?)

Thank you so much for looking at my lovely babies! Any comments would be MORE than welcome! We are so curious! (Also looking for something to talk about while I worry over my babies out in the rain tonight. It's their first thunderstorm!)

Your black cochin looks like a pullet.

Your white game bird looks like a rooster. I don't know on color.

Your crosses are cool! I think as far as color, what you see is what they'll be. Looks like you have a pair--one cockeral, one pullet. I bet she will be a phenomenal layer!

I love your shot of Pranks and Mish--how cool is that? But you might need to seperate them, maybe the two littles together and the two bigs together, or something.

I think your guesses were the same as mine! I know I'll have to separate them soon :( They only make jumpy moves toward each other now, but I know it's just a matter of time. I can't have roosters here, but I honestly love the roos the best! they have so much personality! Maybe they should be house pets LOL!

I know what you mean about lovin the boys! I was just thinking yesterday, when I have more space and less neighbors, I want a bachelor pad full of beautiful, noisy roosters. They're just so pretty, and of course I just love watching a good one take care of his girls and babies.

I would LOVE to have a rooster farm! (as long as they all got along!)

Thank you guys for your feedback! I really appreciate it! Do hens sometimes confront the roosters? Henny Penny seems to be telling Mish off a lot lately!

They haven't reached sexual maturity yet so there isn't a whole lot of difference in behavior between the genders yet. It's all just playing at pecking order dynamics.
