we finally did it....

I have my first broody hen and she is only sitting on 1 egg. We went to our local poultry auction and they had some hatching eggs. I bid on a dozen americana eggs and won the bid. So my husband says let's go look at an incubator just in case the hen doesn't want to sit on the egg anymore. So we got one. We put 6 eggs under the hen and the others in the bator. Wish us luck. This is the first time we are doing this. woohoo....
