We fought the snow and......

Pretty is as pretty does.

The neighbor down the road lost several of his plastic greenhouses to the last snow storm. Flurries today, 3" tomorrow, significant snow Wed./Thurs. Then we send it North to New England.

New York weather guy says this pattern will continue through February with at least one significant storm each week.

Im sorry, I know what you are going through. I have to take a broom and clear off the run (hardware cloth covered by a tarp) after every storm. Otherwise we would look the same.

It can't snow forever right????

Central Maine here - snow's past my hips everywhere we haven't had the snowblower. No one's going anywhere else unless they have snow shoes! The chickens quite like the paths around the house that my husband has made - we even shoveled a path to under the back deck where they like to hang if there's sun.

They'll come out and cruise a bit if it's over 25 degrees or so, otherwise they stay in the coop or in a doorless shed right next to it. So they've been in the coop a LOT this month! They all come running out when they see me, though, complaining loudly at the poor accomodations and asking why can't I make it be warm? I wish I could, ladies, wish I could...

But it's just beautiful, and it'll make me appreciate warm weather when it returns.
