Hi, my name is Annie. My grandfather, sister, and i went fishing at a ranch in Kemp a few days ago. When we got there we noticed a whole pile of eggs near the fence. Apparently something has been causeing the goose laying these eggs to get uninterested in them. The eggs just get cold and don't hatch. Well a few hours in the day go by and we find a new egg that had been layed right by our 4 wheelers. My grandfather told us how he has been wanting a goose for his pond but doesn't have the time to raise one from an egg. So my sister and I have been charged with the task of incubating and hatching this egg. I live in the city and my mother isn't a pet person. Right now we have the egg in a home made incubator in my closet. (thats right, mom doesn't know yet.) I've set up an online journal so i can keep track of the eggs progess. (www.franklinegg.blogspot.com) I would just really appreciate any advise you guys can give me on hatch an egg and raiseing a gosling. Right now i think I've got the incubator sorted out but when it hatches (if it hatches) i'm gonna need some help. Let me know if I'm doing anything wrong.
thank you.

p.s. We've named the egg Franklin Eggbert Jr.

Good luck with your egg. If it hatches you should get it a friend or 3!
