Went out to the coop this morning and was pleasantly surprised to find the very 1st egg! Yeah! The girls will be 20 weeks on Oct 20th, so I was getting excited for this to happen...

Congrats! I got the first egg from my younger birds today too.
One of my youngsters has been laying eggs in the bedding of her coop (houses 2 bantam EE pullets, 1 BA, and a bantam mottled Cochin roo) on 3 out of the last 4 days. It's small, but I'm thinking it's a pullet egg from the BA, although she's NOT all combed and wattled up. The two EEs, well, they're so hard to tell... unless there's another pullet "visiting" their coop to lay it...
Kinda the first time I haven't known which girl has laid which egg.
