My parents decided to keep Champ instead finding a home

He is the sweetest dog, I was so heartbroken when I thought he would be going to another home. But now he's all ours

Aww, how sweet. Is he a Pit? I met the sweetest little Pit puppy today, she was only 9 weeks old and still had that wonderful puppy breath. Enjoy Champ... he looks like he's a champ alright!

Oh sorry, I wasn't very clear. He is a pitbull. He was dumped onto my brother by a "friend" and he was to much for my brother to handle, so he asked my parents if they could find a home for him. We did, but my dad and I have fallen head over heals in love with him. He is still a puppy and very rambunctious, but a very good dog. He just needs some disapline, he is learning very quickly. He was never fixed and clearly breed to fight, but I swear to you, he is the nicest dog I have ever meet. Our golden retriever and toy poodle beat him up and intimidate him, it is so sad

I just remembered a funny story.
My dad is a flight instructor, and brings the dog to work with him. One day he was meeting with a new student and the man walks into my dad's office, sees Champ and ran!!!

My dad caught up to him and kept telling him that he is very gentle, but he refused to go back to the office and told him he needed to find another flight instructor!

I can just imagine to look on the dogs face, "What the hell is the matter with that guy???"

Oh, when we first got him, I looked up that site. They can't take anymore dogs because they are overflowing with homeless pitbulls

Poor dogs, I am telling you they are just as sweet as any other breed. The thing people fail to realize it that the reason there are a lot of vicious pitbulls is because the type of people that are attracted to them. Most people wouldn't think of going to a breeder for one. They way kind people mostly end up with them is from adopting the dogs that are dumped.
