We got a rescue chicken - RIR? Maybe seven weeks?

We got this chicken from a vet as a "rescue" chicken.

I wonder what the ethics are of eating him, if it is a him.
 
girls are 12 weeks and scooter is 8 weeks and a few days he is a brown leghorn
