New Pictures!!

I am sooooo excited!! Our buff orpington, Luna, has been setting on 3 eggs since Wed. afternoon April 14th. Its her first time and she was so good. She let me get her out 2x daily, for food, water and poop break. Then she quickly got back on the nest.

Look what I found this morning!

This is Luna about 2 weeks ago.

I really wasn't expecting any action for at least another day or two. There are 2 more eggs, we shall see what happens!
I candled the eggs only once, at about 10 days. I think 1 egg was clear though. But I put all 3 back under her, and we shall see!

Here's the 2nd chick, hatched in the late afternoon, still a bit damp here:

I also love the BO. What a cutie..and mom looks like she is very intense about the whole thing. She will be a good mom.

They are so cute and are making me sooooo excited. My salmon faverolles is sitting on two silkie eggs and they are due to hatch on Saturday. I CAN'T WAIT...I'm so impatient...yours are making me even more so LOL!
I hope the other one hatches for her
