We got our 1st egg today!!!! :)

Came home after church this morning to find our 1st egg.....and in the nesting box, too!!!! No idea who laid it, 8 of the 10 girls look and act ready. They are all 22 weeks tomorrow, I think. I'm not entirely certain of the all the breeds, we have 2 of each. I'm pretty sure, Buff Orpingtons, RIR, Barred Rock, Australorp, and 2 big white ones, white orpingtons, maybe? Anyhow, a beautiful brown egg, just a touch small but otherwise perfect looking!!

I will post a picture when I find my camera!!

Post a picture in natural light and maybe we can help you w/ who laid it.. OR check out the egg chart that someone is working on..Sorry, I forgot the name but they have complied tons of egg pictures --type in egg chart and see what you get...
