We were in the coop this evening, giving fresh water and checking on the babies when I discovered a little Araucana egg laying on the ground. It's an olive colored egg and tiny, but the shell was very hard (I was surprised since we hadn't started giving Oyster shell yet). Our little Laya had to be the momma. She's been quite the little eager one!! She bows down to the RIR Roo!! It's almost like she puts on a show everytime we come into the coop!!
Anyway, I couldn't wait to share with all ya'll!! They'll be 19 weeks on Tuesday!
