I think you'll hear it and know. Since this morning she has been acting very weird. Pacing from the coop to the run. Investigated all the nesting boxes. Then she finally got into one and made her nest and started laying. The nest to lay was about 30 mins. I am thankful I got to stand their and watch and cheer her on!

Congrats!! It is so much fun to get your very first eggs!!

Just a tip(or two): you might want to put some 3-4" high boards on the bottom fronts of your nests.....
....it looks like bedding and eggs could fall out of them pretty easy.
Some perches 6-8" out in front would be nice too, they often like to look before they .....pick a nest.
