We got our first eggs!

We had 15 chickens... way to many ended up being roosters. We had problems with the hens running away because they were over worked

So we gave away the roosters and finally got some eggs! Not sure which ones gave them we have 8 left. But we are missing one of our hens still and now that we got these eggs I am really wondering if she is brooding somewhere on some eggs. Anyways all three eggs were in the same location all similar size. Do different chickens lay in the same place or is it likely we missed it for 3 days?

Someone could be stashing eggs somewhere. My birds share certain nest boxes even though there are plenty to choose from. I can get 6 / 8 eggs out of one nest box.

they see an egg and think 'ah. this is the place to lay'.
