We got our new chicks.

The last thing I thought about when I got up this morning was getting some chickens. I had baseboard, chair rails and door trim to do after our remodeling. My wife had other ideas. There were young RIRs advertised on Cragislist this morning, so that took precedence over everything else. After an hour ride over to Arcadia and an hour back we had the chicks in thier new home. The guy had a beautiful multi colored rooster I would like to have had but he wasn't for sale. This will tide us over until the next chicken get togather in March.

The man we got them from said three weeks. it's funny that they look so big but don't weigh anything when you pick them up.

They are so cute! I added 5 of them to the order of chicks I got on Thursday. They are so sweet! I tried to take pics of them, but all you can see is fluffiness!
