we got some new chicks

I lost alot of chickens s last jan due to a neighbors dog, I ended up losing around 60, breeders and layers other than a handful of birds. I ordered some from my feedstore in march and probally got over zealous but we have 27 black sex links(never had them) and 15 rir, 15 barred rocks. Anybody have black sex links, other than great egg layers what would you like to add. I will post some pics soon, the brooder is full.

I raised black sex links, red sex links, and rir's from babies. 30 total. They started laying this past march and I have been getting 25-29 eggs a day! I bought them for the eggs and man am I getting them. I am running out of room to put them! You wont beat these if you want eggs.

With all the talk on this board about Silkies I'm wanting to add some to my flock. I'm just curious as to what color egg they lay. I just received 11 ameraucana chicks May 3rd from Ideal Poultry. And one mystery chick, too.

Are the ameraucanas the little cuties with feathers on their cheeks!! I have just one little hen and she is the sweetest!
