We had a broody hen that was sitting on 3 eggs. Another hen, our biggest girl, tried sitting on the eggs, and cracked one
We took the remaining two eggs, and placed them in an incubator after our original broody, Stormy, lost interest. While hopeful, we didn't expect either chick to hatch. I had given up on them 4 days ago, and this morning one hatched!!
I didn't want the poor thing to get lonely, so I went and purchased two polish crested chicks from a friend of mine. I am so exited!!
You can't tell in the pictures, but it has dark grey fluff
