We had our first arrival this morning at 6:54 am. A little blue silkie. We have 11 more pipping & 6 just hanging out. This morning is like day 20 1/2, so the other should starting soon.
Well here we are a little over 24 hrs since we started hatching. Out of 18 eggs, 15 have hatched & 2 have pipped & the last one has done nothing but I have given up hope. They are the cutest little things I have ever since but here's a question. It is very difficult to tell if the chicks are chilly or not because silkies tend to sleep in one big pile. I don't think they are temps right around 99-100,
