What's a Cobright, you ask?

It's what you get when your cochin rooster has an affair with your sebright hen behind your sebright rooster's back.

Aren't they just SO adorable? And they're very, very tiny... and LOUD! hehehe. They are my first hatchlings.

I have decided that this is a new breed, a cobright. Hehehe. Let's see what they are like as they get older.

Well the parents are my friend's chickens, but yes, the cochins in the yard are banties, too. Hehehe.

Here are Alice and Joy in the brooder with their LF brooder mates (EE and Delaware pullets):

Joy is the mouthy one with an opinion. And a pretty good stink-eye, as a chick.

They've both grown into lovely pullets. Here is Joy.

Here is Alice.

Alice is the one I've seen most often in the nest box, but both are laying. They were hatched around the first of May, 2010.
