Hi there,
We decided to hatch some more Runners this year to add to our 3 females and now have a total of 3 drakes with 4 females (we hatched 1 female and 3 drakes) All are lovely ducks and get on great at the moment-the youngest are about 12 weeks. heres some pics!

We are guessing that the drake ratio may be too much...so what would everyone do? We were thinking of trying to swap a couple of drakes for an extra female? we'd rather not keep the 2 extra drakes separate because they are all freeranging at the moment,
any advice appreciated!
Thanks

Aren't they cute! yep, that is a good place to start. You try to keep at least a 2-3 per, free ranging will help lesson the unrest but too many males is never good in the long run.
