We have a bleeder

I have one chick that is hatching now but it has blood and a clear fluid coming out of the peep hole. I can see it moving and hear it chirping so not sure what I should do.

I had that happen a couple of times. It did not seem to last long and chick hatched just fine. I dont think i would assist at this point. Wait and see if it clots offs.

Well left it alone and it stopped peeping. Waited till today to take a closer look and that point found out it died.

Sorry to hear that, it's always hard to lose a chick so close to hatching. There was probably nothing you could have done.
