We have a broken fridge!! Guess what I'm using it for???

We were given a fridge to put in our garage. This weekend while cleaning up the garage DL decided to plug it in and see how it works. The compressor wasn't working!! SOOOOOOOO!! We started converting it into a incubator!! I'm so excited. We have some more work on it to do. Did a very preliminary test run to see if we could get the temp up with very few adjustments and got temp up to 90 degrees. We plan on working on it some more tonight!!

I will we have a 100 watt red heat bulb in the freezer part right now and a termometer in the bottom on the fridge part letting the built in fan circulate the air inside. Was on all last night and today It got up to 99 degrees preety good for something that took us all of an hour and 1/2. We just wanted to see what else we would need. We will get a thermostat to regulate the temp. and an actual socket for the bulb. Thinking we will just buy the regular eggs turners and drill and foam a hole(s) in the back of the fridge which will plug into a surge protector. Not sure about that yet.
