We have an egg! FINALLY!!

After waiting 30 weeks for our 2 EE's and Barred Rock to lay, our Brown EE has finally got the idea. I went out to the run to give the three of them some leftover boudin from lunch and couldn't find her. I looked inside the coop and she was in the nestbox!! After a few moments the egg dropped and she hopped out to go get her treat. No egg song or anything! (which is fine b/c we have close neighbors lol) Its been a LONG wait but I'm so excited and relieved that someone is laying now. Maybe the other 2 will watch her and start laying too. Ahhh, I'm so happy though!!! LOL Here are some pic I took, and no, she didn't lay the golf ball.. haha

We got them from a feed store nearby as chicks, I think they were from Ideal.
