One of my silkies gave me an egg this week too - so the other chickens won't be far behind. I also found the cutest perfectly round egg on the ground this afternoon. The deepest avocado green. Smaller than a Jack's ball and a bit larger than a marble. I suspect that one of my ancient EEs that lives out there plopped it out. These are two old girls, a mother and daughter, that we were given last fall. Their owner moved out of state and wanted somewhere safe to 'retire' their old girls. We inherited a cute little Mille Fleur and them.
