Well the Brooder is completed and we first two chicks yesterday. A Rhode Island Red and a Barred Rock. The chicks are a week old and love the brooder. Temperature is perfect and they are eating and drinking water and milling around. I did put a couple sticks in the brooder so they can roost and they really seem to like them. I will admit my wife and I got a little concerned by the way they were sleeping as they just hunched over and looked like they were dead. But saw a thread that is normal. Am I missing anything or any good tips?
