We have coyotes, raccoons, and the occaisional cougar. What can I do to better protect my chickens?

A coyote got two of my chickens last year and I DO NOT want that to happen again what can I do to better protect the run?

Electric fence and for the raccoons run a line around the top of the run too.

well for starters put a top on it but cougars i dont know how to keep them out the only thing ive found that works on cougars is a bullet strait threw the head or lungs
