they're super super small , they were only a few days to a week old, so most likely they were picked off after they got away from mom, I looked no babies

Perhaps they will come back after sun sets and they hear the others. Fingers are crossed.

I bet you did! Ya, it makes you feel terrible when something happens to our chicks. The ownership and responsibilities we take become overwhelming at times. Im sorry they are not home tonight.

Thank you. I was so so excited, and I was looking forward to what they would look like when they were fully developed, and I loved them the moment I saw them. They were only a few days old but I always love babies.
