All those irises came from bags of bulbs bought from Walmart. They haven't bloomed well in the last couple of years, but I hope that this year, they put on a nice show for us. Here are a few more pics from spring a couple years ago. It's really hard to grow roses here since I don't have much full sun up on the mtn.

And I even have several chestnut saplings...as you may know, chestnut trees have almost become extinct.

Thanks, but I just thought we needed a bright spot with all the bad weather we're all having lately. I haven't planted new bulbs in two or three years, but I think I will do more this fall. Hey, I'm trying to sell my 3.15 acres that adjoins my property the house is on, so you could be my neighbor, hint, hint.

As Cetawin would say, it's next to Suede! LoL.
