Congratulations!!! I'd say two days for waiting although my first pullet laid two days in a row.

I am getting eggs from my early April chicks, then I will have eggs from late April and late May. My last of the last chicks are from late July.

The second egg is variable. It can be the next day, two days or a week later depending on breed and individual variation. Don't sweat it. It'll come when she's ready.
